Hi, I'm Julie Robson – your strategic partner in business support.
Based in South Gloucestershire, I support small businesses across the UK who need a safe pair of handsduring peak times or are ready to take their operations to the next level.
From Education Leadership to Business Partnership
After nearly two decades in educational leadership, including ten years as a headteacher, I've stepped into an exciting new chapter. Taking early retirement gave me the opportunity to redesign my working life around what matters most to me, helping people grow and succeed. This has always been one of the most enjoyable aspects of my educational career. Working flexibly means I can be focused on the priorities of my clients, whilst also creating space for pursuing my creative passions and spending quality time with family and friends.
This transition feels natural because the skills I honed in education translate seamlessly into supporting small businesses: managing multiple projects, communicating diplomatically with diverse stakeholders, developing teams, writing compelling copy, handling crises with calm prioritisation, creating efficient systems, and spotting potential where others see problems.
Making a Difference
I'm particularly passionate about working with:
Education consultants navigating the complexities of the sector I know so well
Therapists who need someone who understands the importance of trust, confidentiality and professional boundaries
Businesses looking to find a better balance for themselves and their team
My safeguarding training and deep understanding of client confidentiality make me a trusted partner for these professionals – someone who truly understands both the business side and the ethical responsibilities that come with their role.
What Sets Me Apart
I work with people rather than ticking boxes. Building authentic, positive relationships was at the heart of my work as both a teacher and a headteacher. Being able to talk to a multitude of stakeholders in the language they understood was also a strength of mine. A typical day included pivoting from active play with four year olds, liasing with social workers, the police and other professionals during child protection meetings and disseminating the impact of our school development plan to the board of governors. Being able to calmly adapt to any situation thrown my way was essential. This experience means I can prioritise effectively and carve out focused time when working with you and your team.
My Approach
Strategic thinking to help you see the bigger picture
Administrativeexpertise to keep your business running smoothly
Genuine partnership built on trust and confidentiality
Creative problem-solving for challenges that seem impossible
Working Together
I work virtually with clients across the UK, giving you flexibility and the opportunity to find that perfect work-life balance. However, I also love the energy of in-person sessions with local clients when it adds value to our partnership.
Beyond Business
When I'm not at work, you'll find me exploring my creative side through painting, drawing, and sewing, or unwinding with a good book and a cup of tea. Travel is my ultimate joy, especially when I can combine it with creative workshops, cooking classes, health and fitness or simply enjoying the view.
My Mission
I'm passionate about creating authentic connections that unlock potential. Whether you're managing multiple projects, focused on client care rather than admin, or expanding your business, I'm here to help you reclaim your time and focus on what you do best.
